Looking for Chief AI/ML Scientist to join our core team:

We're inviting AI scientists to join our early-stage startup as Chief Scientist. Currently we are post-beta, but pre-seed with an MVP launch approximately 4 weeks away. We are unable to offer a salary at this time.

Your Mission:

• Craft the Culture: Define and foster an AI research culture within our startup.
• Get Hands-On: Dive into ML engineering and real-world research for production.
• AI Product Mastery: Design, develop, and deploy ML algorithms that are production-ready.
• Feature Engineering: Master big data modeling, feature selection, and guide the software team on data collection.
• Innovate Recommendations: Find research gaps in recommendation systems for travel tech, and advance the field with new research, and publication.
• Framework: Develop models using PyTorch.
• Data Wizardry: Manage data effectively and uphold robust ML engineering standards.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest ML/AI papers and translate cutting-edge techniques into actionable code and publications.
• Pipeline Perfection: Build and maintain efficient data and production pipelines.
• Deliver: Meet the deadlines. 

Qualifications:

• Academic Excellence: Ph.D. in CS, AI/ML, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field is a must.
• Technical Mastery: Genuine understanding of ML mathematics and all essential concepts, computer vision, NLP (transformers), and recommendation systems.
• Track Record: At least one production-ready AI/ML product and publications in respected journals.
• Framework Expertise: Proficient in PyTorch and familiar with other open-source libraries.
• Data Management Savvy: Hands-on experience in data management and ML engineering.
• Recommendation Systems Know-How: Skilled in various recommendation system designs and practical applications.
• Research Prowess: Adept at researching and implementing the latest ML/AI techniques.
• Pipeline Knowledge: Experienced in data and production pipeline management.
• Feature Selection Skill: Expert in big data modeling and feature selection.
• HuggingFace: is a must skill for this position 

Flexibility:

We know the struggle of working without a salary, which is why we value flexibility. While we are working toward fundraising(and in constant talks with VCs), you might have to balance a day-job while working on our project. As long as you meet deadlines (which we take very seriously), you’re free to manage your time as you please.
