Automation Engineer

CrowdStrike is hiring a technical, hands-on Automation Engineer who will focus on the infrastructure, tools and methods used to ensure that our systems behave in intended ways.

You will play a key role in designing and developing automation and build tools that accurately ensure the quality, reliability and accuracy of our large-scale cloud-based enterprise security system.

We are looking for a highly-technical leader with experience managing a distributed team and a solid understanding of several key technologies.

This is a Hybrid position open to candidates in the Israel area.

What You'll Do

• Develop test framework and test automation
• Design, develop and maintain functional, regression, integration and performance tests
• Design and develop larger scale integration and automated end-to-end tests
• Increase our automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity
• Define test strategies to best handle functional coverage, performance and scale
• Analyze product, system and feature designs for flaws and improvements
• Operate independently

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of programming experience as Automation Engineer
• Proven experience building complex automation infrastructure
• Solid proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with Go / Java
• Solid understanding in testing methodologies
• Hands on development or test expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, MongoDB
• Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security, and performance
• Firm grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Broad understanding of distributed systems concepts and development
• Experience shipping high quality software product releases to a production cloud environment

Bonus Points

• Experience in or working with cybersecurity or intelligence fields
• Experience with Go-based web services and working with scalable microservices architectures
• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with AWS, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and Redis
