About this role:

The FP&A Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, planners and reporters supporting decision-making with data & insights.

As the business partner to the R&D division you will work with R&D Leadership and stakeholders, finance operations, IT, IS, BI and more to ensure your partner’s data & reporting needs are met, as well as guide them in developing new business processes & analytical models.

Responsibilities:

• Build strong, trust-based relationships with the R&D leadership team.
• Support the planning process of the R&D division by ensuring appropriate financial foundations, business approach, and operational alignment with organizational financial strategy and core objectives.
• Develop financial/budgetary thinking throughout the managerial chain.
• Establish internal divisional reporting processes and collaborate with teams to automate and streamline reporting.
• Present clear financial reports to ELT (QBR, BVA, continuous planning, Departmental metrics, etc.) and help define & refine key operational metrics.
• Derive meaningful business insights and communicate to leadership
• Support leadership decision-making with key insights & recommendations.
• Flag for changes required to the financial backend due to BU initiatives and ensure incorporation by Collaborating with financial functions.
  
  

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in business partnering, financial analysis and planning roles. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
• Top-notch communicator, able to effectively share complex financial information with diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of financial principles combined with strong interpersonal skills. A consulting background is a plus.
• A proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, rally stakeholders towards a goal, and drive results.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
