Control and motion engineer - student position.

Civan Lasers develops and manufactures revolutionary high-power single-mode lasers with dynamic beam for material processing applications.

We are hiring a student for the Control and motion engineer position to be part of our automation development team.

Job description:

• Provide a reliable and operational control system architecture to operate an electro-optics multi-axis system.

• Develop and deploy industrial scale-able, modular PC / PLC applications.

• Development of motion control systems in a complex machine.

• Program automation applications (motion and algorithm).

Profile :

• Mechanical \ Electrical Engineering student.

• Design experience with motion control systems including the sizing and selection of motors, steppers, servo drives, sensors, and

implementation of PID loops and remote I/O devices.

• Experienced in Real-time synchronization process.

• Familiar with network and communication protocols – Ethernet, Ether CAT, RS-232/485, CAN bus, CAN open, etc.

• Motion system tuning, based on closed-loop feedback control with an encoder.

• Acceptance test procedure definition.

• Proof of debugging skills and the ability to solve complex problems.

• Knowledge of CAD to motion tools - advantage.

• Position open for M/F in Jerusalem.
