Computer Vision Engineer

A startup company developing humanoid robots for domestic and office tasks, such as moving cargo, navigating rooms, and reaching destinations while avoiding obstacles.

The company integrates the entire product—from hardware, electronics, software, and AI systems to navigation, control, command understanding, and natural language processing.

Located in the Sharon area near a train station and has 45 employees. It was founded by three professors who are experts and well-known in the industry (artificial intelligence, computer science, machine learning).

The company has raised about $17 million in a round A from leading global funds and are preparing for round B.

The role involves developing algorithms in the field of computer vision, primarily using classical methods combined with AI/DL features. You will work on tasks and models such as SLAM, calibration, state estimation, sensor fusion algorithms, odometry, and bringing humanoid robot models to production. Coding is mainly in C++ and Python/Rust.

Responsibility

• Develop novel computer vision algorithms in a multi-camera environment.

• Own the full cycle of SLAM, calibration, state-estimation, and sensor fusion algorithms.

• Develop novel odometry modules for our humanoid robot.

• Work closely with the AI team.

• Deliver high-performance production code.

Requirements

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.

• Demonstrated excellence (e.g., elite unit background, academic distinctions, upward career trajectory).

• Proficiency in developing SLAM and computer vision algorithms.

• Experience working with multiple sensors.

• Strong skills in C++/Rust.
