Yopi Technologies was founded in 2017 with a mission to develop, manufacture, and market advanced, intelligent Point-of-Care clinical sensing and diagnostic solutions to replace some routine laboratory diagnostic testing. These solutions address the challenges of traditional methods of monitoring electrolytes, such as sodium, potassium and Calcium levels in urine, which are slow and cumbersome, often delaying critical diagnoses of imbalances like hyponatremia or hypernatremia.

Our efficient, intelligent PoC diagnostic solutions are designed to bring the capabilities of a lab to the patient’s bedside, replacing laboratory tests and thereby assisting healthcare professionals in making more effective interventions. Specifically, our solutions allow continuous monitoring of electrolyte levels found in excreted bodily fluids such as urine and sweat.

Recently, at the behest of clinicians, Yopi has been developing an additional PoC device, CathSense™. It seamlessly integrates with a user-friendly smartphone or tablet-based application, eliminating the typical 18-24 hour wait for lab results and providing immediate, actionable data. Our rigorous testing has confirmed our sensor’s accuracy to be over 90%, comparable to gold-standard laboratory systems.
