Software Engineer

A startup in the data infrastructure field is developing innovative technology for the online social gaming industry. The company creates data infrastructure that integrates with game APIs (not gambling) and is the only one in the country with a business model that allows winning valuable prizes (like vacations, iPhones, etc.) in every game without payment.

Located in Tel Aviv near a train station, the company has 35 employees, most of whom are in R&D.

The company has raised a significant amount from leading industry companies and a major fund.

The founders are experienced technologists who have sold companies in the past and specialize in the global gaming industry. They have already received regulatory approvals, launched their product in the U.S., and it has been very successful, leading to significant expected growth.

Role description: The role involves developing a product in production, with an emphasis on the client side using Node.js and React, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and GCP.

Responsibilities:

• Guide and inspire the team to deliverables and add new features, using React and Node.js to craft seamless and visually stunning gaming experiences.
• Set and uphold rigorous standards and best practices.
• Drive the team toward success by delivering high quality features.
• Conduct thorough testing of all developments.
• Work collaboratively with the QA team to quickly identify and resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with data, design and product teams to develop, refine, and enhance user interfaces, animations, and interactive features, ensuring a cohesive and immersive user experience.

Requirements:

• 5 years hands-on full stack development experience, with a strong proficiency using React and Node.js.
• 2 years in a leadership role within an engineering team, proven ability to manage and mentor effectively set high standards and cross functional collaboration such as product, design, data and other engineering groups.
• Experience using databases: PostgreSQL and Redis
• Proficient in managing services across AWS and/or GCP.
