Automation Engineer

A startup in the cyber field, the company has developed a system that connects to various security products in an organization via API, collects data on the performance of the tools—what comes in, what goes out, settings, and rules—identifies gaps, and provides prioritized recommendations based on threat coverage and organizational infrastructure.

The company's CEO previously made an exit with a company for $105 million. They are currently concluding the expansion of Round A. The company has 45 employees.

Located in Tel Aviv (on a train line), they operate in a hybrid model allowing 3 days of remote work.

Role description: The role is part of a small team reporting to the tech lead and primarily involves automation (80-90%) with some manual testing (10-20%). They code in TypeScript and use AWS cloud (experience in other languages is acceptable for transitioning).

Requirements-

• Experience in WEB Testing: Proven experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• API Testing: Proven experience in testing RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Cloud Environments: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or others.
• Programming Languages: Skilled in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Automation Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices in automation.
• Agile Environment: Practical experience in an Agile development environment.
• Independent Learner: Ability to learn new technologies independently and manage multiple projects.
• Manual QA Experience: Proven experience in manual QA testing processes and methodologies
