As a Technical Services Group Manager, you will lead a group of skilled technical professionals dedicated to providing top-tier support and services to our clients. You will oversee the delivery of comprehensive technical solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. Your role will involve managing complex technical projects, mentoring team members, and collaborating with various departments to enhance our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
The objective of a Group Manager in Technical Services is to provide leadership and the highest level of customer service to Check Point’s worldwide client base.
- Lead a group of team managers: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction through defined practices and policies.
- Facilitate and participate in customer conference calls: Manage all areas of customer interactions and escalations.
- Lead staff to meet their target objectives: Achieve this through continual communications and metric reviews.
- Utilize resources efficiently: Leverage all available resources to expedite resolution and increase productivity without compromising quality.
- Formulate staffing requirements and employee development: Identify training needs, coaching, and counseling to ensure teams have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Promote employee well-being and minimize attrition: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, recruit, and promote talents, and collaborate with HR to manage career paths.
- Build and maintain key strategic relationships: Foster relationships both inside and outside of Check Point.
Qualifications
• 5+ Years of Management experience, previous technical role is highly desired.
• 3+ years of relevant technical work experience in networking/internet security.
• 3+ years of Check Point or security experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English preferred.
• General knowledge and understanding of networking and security
• Knowledge of common operating systems like Linux.
• Capable of working in an internationally distributed and multi-cultured organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
