Senior Backend Developer

A global fintech company is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and robust backend systems using a modern technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Development and System Optimization: Lead the design and development of robust APIs, ensuring seamless integration with the front-end team. Oversee database and caching mechanism management within a microservices architecture for optimal performance.
• Feature Development Lifecycle: Manage the entire lifecycle of features, from initial conception through to production, including planning, development, and comprehensive testing to ensure quality.
• Cloud Environment Management: Take responsibility for deploying, observing, and monitoring features in a cloud environment, ensuring high availability, and performance of services.
• Code Quality and Collaboration: Maintain high standards of code quality, participate in code reviews, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and frameworks like Express and NestJS.
• Experience with Ci/CD pipeline, including setup and configuration – an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
