Senior Researcher – Full-Time / PostDoc

Smart Resilin is a startup company founded by Prof. Oded Shoseyov &  located in Rehovot.

The company develops products based on the natural protein Resilin, for applications in cosmetics, sports, textiles, and more.

Role Description:

-  Design and conduct laboratory experiments to develop new products based on Resilin    protein.

- Work with the R&D team to improve existing processes and develop new ones.

- Analyze experimental results and prepare scientific reports.

- Collaborate with European laboratories for joint research efforts.

- Define and manage tests in external laboratories for obtaining various certifications.

- Build technical databases for products.

The ideal candidate should have:

- A Master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience or a Ph.D. in Biology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology Engineering – required!

- Willingness to work in a laboratory – required!

- High-level proficiency in English – required!

- Experience in fermentation processes, especially Downstream – significant advantage.

- Experience in preparing gels – significant advantage.

- Experience working in startup companies – an advantage.
