Mobile Engineer

A growing startup in the retail tech field is developing technology that transforms regular stores into fully autonomous ones. They have created smart surfaces, only 1.5mm thick, that use AI to detect all inventory on shelves with accuracy down to a few grams.

Located in Tel Aviv (near a train line), the company has 15 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications and delivering high-availability and performance

• Create well designed, testable, efficient code

• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle

• Assist in the preparation and production of releases of software components

• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications

• Investigate alternatives and technologies and present them for architectural review, in order to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience as a mobile developer.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• Familiarity with code versioning tools.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Experience with MongoDB

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving aptitude

• Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with writing unit testing.
