Senior Automation QA Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our dynamic R&D team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Single Page Applications (SPA) on the frontend, and our GraphQL and REST APIs on the backend. The successful candidate will work independently and will report directly to the R&D Manager. This role involves close collaboration with the Product, R&D, and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for SPA, GraphQL, and REST API testing.
2. Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and compliance with specifications.
3. Identify, record, document, and track bugs, as well as perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
4. Collaborate with the Product, R&D, and Operations teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
5. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and strategies to increase test efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Provide detailed and accurate test reports, and communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA and automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with testing Single Page Applications (SPA) and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency in testing GraphQL and REST APIs.
•  Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
