Computer Vision Team Leader

Position Overview:

The Algorithms Team Leader will oversee the development and implementation of advanced algorithms in computer vision, audio/speech and deep learning. This role requires a strong background in research, development, and team leadership. The successful candidate will lead a team of talented algorithm engineers to create innovative solutions that drive the company's technological advancements and strategic goals. In addition to technical expertise, the Algorithm Team Leader will focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture, supporting personal and professional growth, and ensuring the well-being and career development of team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Development
• Leading research and development of state of the art AI models in the fields of computer vision, audio/speech and deep learning.
• Responsible for the team roadmap, team building, and execution of Algo projects in the group/company.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and deep learning. Encourage and facilitate continuous learning and innovation within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially AI-Backend and Data labeling, to integrate algorithms into products and services.
• The role includes 30-40% hands-on.
• Leadership and Management
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of algorithm engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Support the personal and professional growth of team members through training, mentorship, and development opportunities.

If this sounds like you, you probably have:

• At least 5 years of experience in deep learning development for computer vision
• 2+ years of experience in leading an Algo team.
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• M.Sc. in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering / Math
• Ph.D. in Computer Science / Engineering / Math - an advantage
• Experience in delivering production-grade algorithms
