Software Engineer - Solutions

Description

Our engineers in the solution team are the primary technical experts, responsible for actively driving and managing the technical components of the pre and post sales engagement. As a software Engineer in this team, you will assist with ad-hoc technical issues, questions and research requests and provide custom postman examples. While you will be part of Nimble’s solutions team, you will work day to day with non-technical stakeholders on the Sales and Customer Success teams, fielding their requests and questions, and serving as an internal technical advisor and subject matter expert.

This is a pivotal role, focused on balancing various aspects of the client delivery by creating a sustainable plan for action.

Responsibilities

• Bring a highly technical and analytical view to solving customer challenges.
• Use your strong development background to serve as the technical lead throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Proactively identify ideas to help drive stronger product performance and implement those ideas from start to finish.
• Be the technical product expert and advisor for customers and stay up-to-date on the data solutions competitive landscape.
• Employ your natural curiosity in building solutions for our clients
• Deliver complex data delivery projects that include gathering data from different sources, providing aggregated data or data insights.
• Work closely with the Engineering and Web-scraping teams.
  
  

• 3+ years in a software developing Role, preferably in a SaaS product start-up company.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, XPath, HTTP networking, GraphQL, Fetch API).
• Demonstrate Web scraping understanding/capabilities.
• Passion for diving into technical issues and solving customer challenges
• Programming skills with any one of the following: Python, Golang, Javascript
• Experience in at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in designing solutions on at least one major database platform including data modelling, indexes and query optimization.
