Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as the right hand to the VP Supply Chain and have extensive knowledge and expertise in managing the supply chain process, with a particular focus on Bill of Materials (BOM) entry and Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) creation within an ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the VP Supply Chain in overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
• Contribute to the implementation of strategies to optimize supply chain operations and enhance productivity.
• Accurately enter and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products in the ERP system.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure BOM accuracy and completeness.
• Regularly update BOMs to reflect any changes in product design or component specifications (ECO).
• Maintain consistency and accuracy in SKU data across the system.
• Utilize the ERP system to streamline supply chain processes and improve data accuracy.
• Provide training and support to team members on ERP system functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any ERP-related issues in a timely manner.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on BOM entry and SKU creation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a big advantage).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry.
