Director of Finance

Mize is a Fintech-travel start-up that uses high-end technology to solve some of the huge challenges of the evolving travel industry and provide real financial value to our network of clients, including more than 130 international clients generating $12 Billion in sales annually. Our headquarters are in Tel Aviv, and we have offices in Argentina, Spain, UK, US, and India. What will you do?

• Develop and refine financial strategies to align with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Provide financial insights and projections to guide long-term and short-term decision-making.
• Oversee all finance responsibilities including accounting, financial reporting, tax, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
• Manage the budgeting process and implement effective financial plans.
• Develop performance measures, monitoring goals and KPIs that support the company's strategic direction.
• Oversee cash flow and cash management.
• Work closely with senior management to optimize financial performance and manage budget needs and guidelines.
• Provide insightful financial information to the executive team to aid in decision-making.
• Ensure financial controls are in place and operational.
• Manage relationships with external partners (bank, investors etc.).
• Manage and guide the accounting team
  
  

• Minimum 5 years of proven accounting experience from High-Tech companies
• Experience working in global companies with multi-currency environment.
• Out-of-the-box thinking, multi-tasking skills, independence, highly motivated and committed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Organized with high attention to details.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with NetSuite - an advantage
