About the Position 

We are seeking talented and experienced Algorithm Developers to join our growing team focused on developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the entire algorithm lifecycle, from development and optimization to integration and validation. You'll bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring algorithms function seamlessly in real-world applications. This role is on track for future career progression towards leadership positions like Tech Lead and Principal Engineer. 

Responsibilities -

Algorithm Development and Optimization:  

• Design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms, classical CV and deep learning based, for tasks such as object detection, recognition, estimation, tracking, and image segmentation. 
• Optimize algorithms for real-time processing and efficient resource utilization on various hardware platforms. 

Algorithm architecture design:  

• Design algorithm architectures based on functional and performance requirements. 
• Write clear and concise dosing and requirements documents that define the functionality and performance expectations of computer vision algorithms. 
• Read, understand, analyze and ensure algorithms comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. 

Collaboration and Integration:  

• Work closely with the system engineering team (in our corporate engineering) to ensure seamless integration of computer vision algorithms into broader product architectures. 
• Collaborate with validation engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans to evaluate algorithm performance and identify potential issues. 

Research and Innovation:  

• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of algorithms, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and trade-offs. 
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in computer vision research and actively explore new techniques to enhance our algorithms. 

What Are We Looking For? 

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related engineering field with at least 4 years as algorithms developer and at least 2 years of algo system engineer. 
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing computer vision algorithms using deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow). 
• Strong understanding of image processing techniques, computer vision principles, and machine and deep learning fundamentals. 
• Proficiency in Python. 
• Proven experience in writing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations. 
• Experience working with and integrating complex algorithms into broader systems. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and troubleshoot complex issues. 
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly across teams. 
• Experience in the automotive industry – an advantage.
