FP&A Senior Data Analyst

We're hiring an experienced FP&A Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team!

The FP&A Senior Data Analyst will provide detailed data analysis and insights, and develop internal insight delivery tools and BI solutions to support the Senior Director of FP&A. This position requires a strong technical background in SQL, Tableau, and business intelligence (BI) tools, as well as a focus on sales and revenue analysis and the payments sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data to drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights for the senior management.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools.
• Business Intelligence Creation: Develop and maintain BI solutions that enhance the company’s ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including sales, payments and operations, to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
• Revenue Analytics: Perform detailed analysis of revenue streams, sales performance, and payment processing metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Report Generation: Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data analyst in the high-tech or global payments industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in SQL for complex data queries and analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Experience with other BI tools and data visualization software.
• FP&A Knowledge: Strong understanding of FP&A processes, particularly in revenue analytics, with a solid understanding of payment processing and financial transactions.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
