Director of Quality and Technology

A well-established and highly regarded food company is seeking to hire a Director of Quality and Technology for a food factory located in the north region.

As the Director of Quality and Technology , you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's operations and overall success. This position is both challenging and rewarding, allowing you to showcase your leadership skills and drive the factory toward achieving its goals.

Responsibilities:

• Member of the factory management team.
• Manage the quality and technology department and take end-to-end responsibility for all processes in this area, including laboratory activities.
• Directly manage 8 team leaders and indirectly manage approximately 40 employees in managerial and professional aspects.
• Maintain management routines with internal (headquarters) and external (authorities) interfaces.
• Full responsibility for the quality aspect of factory products, including problem-solving, data management and analysis for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Full responsibility for the technological aspect of factory products, from the beginning of the development process (including industrial trials), through the production processes on the line to the final product.
• Provide tools and guidelines for solving technological problems using operational excellence tools.
• Write work plans and manage budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering/ Food Engineering / Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Production/ life sciences / biology
• At least 3 years of experience in a process manufacturing plant, preferably in food or pharmaceuticals.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience with a minimum of 5 people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
