Import Export Specialist

Our company is a fast-growing global medical device company, developing and manufacturing innovative drug delivery and infusion solutions across the continuum of care- from the hospital to the home. We are looking for an excellent an Import Export Specialist to join the team.

Job Description:

• Manage all aspects of importing and exporting medical devices, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation. Ensure compliance with both domestic and international trade regulations, as well as specific medical device regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, customs agents, and distributors to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor and manage any logistics issues that may arise, including delays, damages, and customs discrepancies. Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and import/export procedures for medical devices.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of shipments, including descriptions, quantities, and costs.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency in the logistics chain.
• Provide training and guidance on import/export compliance to internal teams.
  
  

• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure all necessary licenses and approvals are in place for international markets.
  
  

• Job skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience Import\Export roles – a must.
• Proven experience in import/export operations, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations and medical device compliance requirements.
• Experience in computerized warehouse management – an advantage
• Computer skills:
• Microsoft Office
• ERP systems
• Language skills: Fluent English – reading and writing
• Personality:
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to solve complex logistical and regulatory issues.
