Role Overview
We're looking for a quick and independent learner to join us as a Vulnerability Research Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you'll research the internals of systems and programming languages to develop advanced infrastructure for vulnerability research. Your focus will be on developing frameworks and applications, and applying algorithms and heuristics to streamline exploit development, vulnerability research and reverse engineering, thus shaping the future of security research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop novel tools to assist vulnerability researchers, integrated with leading frameworks and technologies such as IDA Pro, Jeb, Ghidra, QEMU etc.
- Conduct algorithmic research and development initiatives to solve and automate complex research problems, optimize processes and drive innovation within the security research ecosystem.
- Conduct in-depth research into OS internals and application behavior.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in low-level system programming, reverse engineering and infrastructure development roles, delivering high-impact solutions in complex environments.
- Experience with reverse-engineering tools such as IDA, Ghidra and Jeb.
- Familiarity with debugging tools such as gdb / frida.
- Strong foundation in algorithmic research and development, with the ability to apply heuristic techniques and solve complex problems using advanced algorithms.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, etc., with a demonstrated ability to architect and implement robust scalable solutions.
- Solid understanding of Unix-like OS internals.
- Experience with compiler frameworks (e.g. LLVM) - a plus
- Experience with fuzzing and emulation technologies (e.g. QEMU) - a plus
- Experience in mobile security research - a plus
