Infrastructure System Engineer

Mertens-Malam Team is looking for a Infrastructure System Engineer

We are looking for a talented, experienced, hands-on, software, IT and infrastructure engineer to join a world class, leading real-time operational defense system. The role requires a deep understanding of of-the-shelf hardware, software and network solutions, customer sites build up, infrastructure technologies and the ability to dive deep into details and specifications.

Job Description:

• Work closely with multiple projects architects and system engineering teams
• Lead customer sites assembly, maintenance and support
• Hands-On set-up, trouble shooting and integration abilities
• Provide system infrastructure development teams (hardware and software) and other infrastructure related teams with detailed, well defined specification documents, presentations and perform PDR/ CDR.
• Continuously Interact with customers, project multiple teams from various disciplines, partners and providers

Job Requirements:

• Experience in highly complex IT sites setup from inception to operational level
• Highly experience in Microsoft & Linux operating systems
• Know-how and hands-on abilities in site set-up, deployment, integration, configuration and scripting
• Highly familiar with management, monitoring and measurement of system performance and network load analysis
• Highly familiar with complex network and real-time IT systems
• Ability to produce highly technical specification documents
• Great inter-personal skills and a team player
• Bsc./ Engineering degree In Computer Science or Information Technology degree- an advantage
