Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Machine Learning Solution Engineer with a strong background in DevOps, databases, frontend and cloud computing. The ideal candidate will be passionate about data science and machine learning, and have the technical skills to deploy, manage, and optimize our solutions for our clients. This role requires spending time on customer sites for deployments, and thus, an active security clearance is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Success: Act as the primary technical point of contact for our customers, ensuring their success with our platform.
• Solution Engineering: Implement custom solutions for customers, deploying our platform on massive scale video datasets on different architectures.
• Technical Support: Provide top-tier support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Deployment and Scaling: Manage deployments of our platform on customer infrastructures, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• On-Site Engagement: Spend time on customer sites for deployments and support, ensuring smooth implementation and integration.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our development team to provide feedback from customers and help guide the product roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Technical Expertise:
• At least 5 years experience in a related role.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
• Proficiency with databases.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with GPU acceleration and related technologies is a plus.
• Experience with frontend and backend development.
• Excitement about working with massive video and image datasets, up to petabytes of data.
• Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts (we can teach machine learning and computer vision specifics).
• Customer Orientation: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer-centric approach.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Programming: Proficiency in Python and experience with other relevant programming languages. Javascript is a plus, postgresQL is a plus
• Security Clearance: Must have a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a customer-facing role within a tech company.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Prior experience with open-source projects is a plus.
• Strong passion for machine learning and computer vision.
• Enthusiasm for large-scale machine learning challenges.
