Major Subcontractors Program Manager

We are seeking for a highly skilled, experienced and motivated Subcontracting Program Manager to be responsible and manage a successful execution of large-scale subcontracted projects

Responsibilities:

Subcontractor Execution Management: responsible for subcontractors deliverables

Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during project execution

Subcontractors’ Project Planning and Coordination: Verification of comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

Matrix management: Coordinating internal teams and departments, and other subcontractors to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of project goals

Quality Control: Control and enforce quality standards and procedures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations

Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to monitor the quality of subcontracted work

Cost and Budget Management: Regular monitoring of contract spend to ensure subcontractors’ scope is delivered within budget

Review and approve subcontractor invoices and expenses, ensuring alignment to contractual agreements

Risk Management: Identify subcontractors’ potential risks and mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions Proactively address issues, conflicts, and delays to maintain project momentum and ensure timely completion

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for internal teams and departments. Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, contract amendments, and action logs

Relationship Management: Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to enable open channels of communication and productive working relationships

Serve as the primary point of contact for major subcontractors within the project and resolve any issues or concerns promptly

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering / management / logistics / economics or a related field

Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) – desirable

Minimum of 3 years of experience in large scale project management, specifically overseeing subcontracted projects in a defense industry

Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors, including selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, issue resolution and successful deliveries

Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities

High level in English- both spoken and written

Additional languages knowledge is an advantage (Russian - significant advantage)

Familiarity with the supplier market in Israel and abroad in the defense sector
