Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Leading the QA initiatives ensuring thorough test coverage and high-quality product releases.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for both new and existing features.
• Conducting manual and automated tests, reporting defects, and tracking their resolution.
• Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear and testable.
• Participating in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Continuously enhancing QA processes and practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Over 5 years of experience in QA engineering, particularly with web applications.
• A strong grasp of software development and QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Jest.
