DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with our developers to design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
• Problem Solving: Quickly diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal disruption to development and operations
• Design and Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of our systems, bringing in innovative ideas and pushing the adoption of new technologies
• Educate and Advocate: Educate team members on best practices in DevOps and continuously push for the adoption of new tools and technologies
• Project Ownership: Take ownership of cross-company projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the necessary requirements
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient code deployment processes
• On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems

Requirements:

• You have at least 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
• You have extensive experience with AWS services and architecture, including AWS networking
• You have proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus
• You have deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems
• You have hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using ECS (Elastic Container Service), Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm charts
• You have a strong understanding of networking concepts and configurations
• You have knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
• You are an expert in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• You have knowledge and experience with ArgoCD and GitOps principles
• You are highly self-managed with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• You are a self-learner with a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
• You are willing to work on-site at our office in Modiin at least 4 days a week
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience - an advantage
• Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Networking - an advantage
