Technical Lead Manager, Cloud Modernization

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience in people management (e.g., hiring, growth, etc.).
• Experience with operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), Java frameworks, networks, on-premises and cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, Public Clouds).
• Experience in designing and implementing cloud services and solutions and enterprise grade container technologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small team and work with other local and remote teams to develop those products.
• Build goals, roadmap, planning and innovation opportunities for the domain and collaborate with different teams and roles to drive it.
• Work closely with customers/partners all around the world to understand requirements and to support their usage of our products.
• Lead products used by Google Cloud customers for modernization of their business critical applications.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
