Front End Tech Lead

We are eagerly seeking a Front End Tech Lead. The Impact You'll Make:

• Lead the Frontend Transformation: This is a leadership role with a very significant impact. You'll establish a strong frontend culture, mentor developers, and guide the overall direction of our frontend development.
• Optimize the Codebase: Our front end needs your expertise. You'll analyze, optimize, and potentially rewrite key components, tackling performance bottlenecks and memory leaks to create a smooth, efficient user experience.
• Drive Strategic Decisions: This role comes with significant responsibility. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the company, guiding technical discussions and making critical choices that affect both internal teams and our external users.
• Future-Proof Our Frontend: You'll develop a plan to migrate our project from Create React App (CRA) to a more sustainable foundation, ensuring our front end remains robust and scalable for years to come.

Qualifications:

You're the Ideal Candidate if You Have:

• A minimum of 6 years of experience with React and Redux and 1 year of experience with React-Query.
• Prior experience as a Tech Lead, successfully leading frontend teams and projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex front-end issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively guide and mentor junior developers.
• The ability to think strategically and make sound technical decisions.

Technical Skills (Required):

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with React.js, including core principles like Virtual DOM, JSX, components, props, state management (Redux, Context API), and lifecycle methods.
• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript features (ES6+).
• Experience with popular state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or Context API).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Babel, Parcel) and CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with performance optimization techniques.
• Experience migrating front-end projects from one environment (CRA) to another.
