Senior System Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to join our development team. In this role, you'll play a key role in blending our multidesciplinary platform with our software and control modules. Plus, you'll get hands-on with our first prototypes, making sure everything operates robustly by running field experiments, system tests and qulification checks.

As a key contributor to the R&D team, you will require a deep understanding of both software application engineering and system validation to ensure that all aspects of the system meet stringent quality standards. Reporting to our head of engineering, you will work closely with our software teams and hardware development team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our R&D and Product team to understand requirements and translate them into system tests and qualifications, ensure that the product is functional, reliable, and meets both external and internal standards.
• Develop field test plans and strategies that ensure software or hardware meets all requirements and quality standards and execute them.
• Translating market and product requirements into engineering specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into larger projects.
• Create professional technical documentation and present it for internal and external use.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with multidesiplinary complex systems
• Familiarity with multiple fields such as mechanical, electrical and software engineering, ensuring they meet all functional and non-functional requirements
• Background and experience in statistical analysis, big data analytics and data analysis software applications.
• Ability to write test procedures and qualiifcation protocols
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from different backgrounds
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with agritech or agriculture equipment - a big advantage
