Elbit Systems’ Radio Department develops and integrates complex MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks) systems for tactical communication on the battlefield. The MANET systems contain dozens and even hundreds of radios that need to communicate and transfer data, voice, and video services throughout the network, all within a tactical environment and under harsh conditions

In developing these networks, we use many and varied network simulations that model the radios and their behaviours within the network

This simulations will assist in characterizing, implementing and validating the MANET network protocols

Requirements:

Graduate Diploma of Communication and Electrical Engineering – or similar

Master's degree – an advantage

Software development skills in ++C

Knowledge of Python – some understanding of code required

Experience in wireless communication – an advantage

High level of proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English 

Relocation period - 3 years
