Role Description

Mano Maritime is seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Superintendent to join our team in Haifa. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing the daily operations and management of our cargo and cruise ships.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating ship schedules and ensuring adherence to maritime regulations.
• Managing personnel and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Overseeing maintenance and repairs to ensure the optimal performance of vessels.
• Collaborating with shipping company representatives, port authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement and budgetary controls.

Qualifications

• Graduate of the Naval Academy's Seamanship Systems course (Engineering).
• Experience as a Chief Mechanic in the Navy.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in English.
• In-depth knowledge of the maritime industry, including relevant rules and regulations.
• Expertise in procurement and budgetary cost control.
• Willingness to travel extensively for global projects
