Software Engineering Team Lead

A successful startup developing a cybersecurity system for the Automotive world, focusing on Connected Car technologies and working with the largest car manufacturers globally.

Established in 2017, the company has around 130 employees worldwide and has completed significant funding rounds.

The company is located in the Sharon area, with the option to work from home two days a week.

As an Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team consisting of both front-end and back-end developers who will design, develop and deliver Cyber Threat Intelligence SaaS product.

Responsibilities-

• Set a strategic engineering direction to Cyber Threat Intelligence SaaS product, drive planning cycles, and helps keep the priorities in order.
• Communicate technical and product decisions to the relevant team members, resolve bottlenecks, and keep the development machine humming.
• Work side-by-side with the product managers, cybersecurity analysts and researchers.
• Manage a team of high-performing engineers.
• Provide regular performance feedback, hold one-on-ones and provide career development support to your team.
• Hands-on development - up to 80%.

Requirements-

• 3 years of experience as a team leader of productive, high-performing engineering teams.
• 7 years of back-end experience building web applications.
• Back-end development in Kotlin
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality software products, while leading teams.
• Proven ability to lead through influence and collaboration rather than pure authority.
• Ability to make key decisions in a timely manner, while simultaneously weighing the needs and input of multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interested in partnering with product, design, and various stakeholders across the company to understand how they operate and how to enhance offerings.
• Experience with Kotlin, React, Typescript would help you hit the ground running.
