About ARC (Accelerate, Redesign, Collaborate) Innovation is a global ecosystem of leading healthcare systems worldwide, strategic industry partners, and cutting-edge startup companies. Its members focus on attaining two goals: driving large-scale transformation efforts and ensuring that innovation leads to economic growth. The ~160 members collaborate on co-innovation or co-development projects to tackle critical challenges in healthcare, such as financial sustainability, workforce shortages and burnout, system inefficiencies, and policies and/or regulatory obstacles. This collaborative approach keeps us at the cutting edge of healthcare transformation.

Position: Director of International Partnerships  

ARC serves as a model for other institutions looking to develop or expand upon an existing innovation program. As the Director of International Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in our international collaboration efforts. You will oversee and manage activities with hospitals and healthcare organizations outside of Israel, spanning North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Your role will also involve managing visits and coordinating in-person and virtual high-profile events, which are crucial in promoting ARC's global presence. This role is part of ARC's Business Development team, and your contributions will be instrumental in our continued success.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Relationship Management: As the go-to person for all international activities, e.g., international academic medical centers and systems, you will be at the heart of our collaborative efforts. Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key executives and stakeholders in those partners. Serve as the main point of contact for communication, collaboration, and issue resolution.
• Display Competencies: Demonstrate the ability to articulate how the ARC Innovation methodology, which focuses on driving large-scale transformation efforts and ensuring that innovation leads to economic growth, aligns with healthcare system strategy and business offerings to internal and external audiences. Participate in conversations around ecosystem development activities.
• Material Preparations: As the Director of International Partnerships, you will generate presentations, prepare reports and questionnaires to support and enable the progress of joint initiatives, and perform other related tasks. These materials will facilitate effective communication and collaboration with our international partners.
• Visitations: Manage visits by senior leaders and/or clinical teams that visit ARC Innovation and Sheba Medical Center. 
• Negotiations: In this role, you will lead negotiations mainly on partnership agreements and several specific collaboration contracts, including terms, scope, responsibilities, and intellectual property considerations. Ensure that agreements are mutually beneficial and support the strategic objectives of both ARC and the international partners.
• Project Management: Oversee the execution of collaborative projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met. Coordinate cross-functional teams from ARC and the industry partners to drive project success.
• Communication: Maintain regular and effective communication with international partners, providing updates on project progress, sharing insights, and addressing any challenges or concerns.
• Manage conferences and large-scale events

Skills: 

• Savvy at navigating complex organizations, you will have the opportunity to navigate complex organizations and connect with key stakeholders. Working hand-in-hand with Partners, other executives, and heads of Hubs and Clinical Units, you will focus team efforts on securing relationships with their counterparts and decision-makers to uncover opportunities to collaborate with International Partners. 
• Ability to think strategically while staying focused on monitoring the progress of action items and bringing them to a conclusion within appropriate time frames.
• Ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders to develop joint go-to solution opportunities. These are collaborative solutions that our partners and we can implement together to address common challenges or achieve shared goals.

Required Qualifications and Soft Skills:

• 7+ years of professional experience with 2 years focused on project management or equivalent experience working with healthcare systems.
• International business experience and a track record of successful collaborations across global markets; prior experience in innovation is a plus. 
• MBA or any other relevant postgraduate qualification from a reputed institute.  
• The highest integrity and work ethics standard, result orientation, and proven execution capability. 
• High level of proficiency in English (both oral and written).
• Ability to travel upon requirement.
