Senior Frontend Developer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Front End Developer with a strong background in web application development. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of our client-side applications, working closely with the development team to deliver high-quality, user-friendly experiences. Bonus knowledge in backend technologies is highly desirable for this role.

What you'll do

• Lead the development of robust, efficient, and scalable web applications using modern front end technologies, including Angular, React, and other front end stack technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and back end developers, to translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, while ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Troubleshoot and debug front end issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and techniques, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our front end development processes.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
• Collaborate with back end developers to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate front end interfaces with backend systems.
• Opt: Develop backend components using technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, or Django.
• Opt: Participate in database design and implementation, including working with SQL or NoSQL databases.

What you have

• Proven track record as a Front End Developer, with at least 4-5 years of professional experience in web application development.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and React, with a deep understanding of their core principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with other front end stack technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and related libraries and frameworks.
• Experience in developing responsive web interfaces and implementing mobile-first design principles.
• Solid understanding of web standards, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
• Proficient in version control systems, such as Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the aptitude to guide and mentor other developers.
• Bonus: Experience with backend technologies and frameworks, such as Node.js, Express.js, or Django.
• Bonus: Familiarity with database systems, such as SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Bonus: Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front end testing frameworks, such as Jasmine, Jest, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Optional: Experience with backend APIs and integrating front end interfaces with backend systems.
• Optional: Familiarity with database systems, such as SQL or NoSQL databases, and ability to work with backend data.
