About the Position

C2A Security is a dynamic and successful startup. We seek a highly experienced and knowledgeable professional to join our team as the VP of Product (advantage: Automotive Experience). Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be crucial in shaping and directing our product strategy within our target markets. You must possess a strong background and expertise in cyber security industries, a robust technical background, hands-on experience, and a solid outbound approach.

As the VP of Product, your exceptional outbound skills, ability to demonstrate expertise while engaging with clients, and proficiency in problem-solving will be instrumental in driving the success of our products and establishing our brand as a leader in the industry.

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the product functions within our company
• Define clear goals, priorities, and messaging for the product team. (Hands-on work)
• Develop a compelling vision and strategic direction for our product portfolio, aligning it with customer needs, business growth, competitive market dynamics, and overall technology strategy
• Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, pricing, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
• Drive R&D efforts and prioritize development based on product direction and customer needs
• Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
• Lead technical customer meetings to identify and deliver customized solutions and understand the overall product implications
• Work closely with the management team and other managers to identify, develop, assess, and execute business plan components and strategies
• Participate in process improvements and technological initiatives to improve deal execution efficiency
• Build a scalable go-to-market strategy to increase product awareness, drive lead-generation efforts, and foster revenue growth in the company’s target markets
• Translate our organization’s vision and growth strategy into a comprehensive, long-range plan for building a successful product team with scalable capabilities
• Oversee the development of compelling product messaging and value propositions that differentiate our offerings from competitors
• Collaborate cross-functionally to leverage additional resources, such as conferences/events, web presence, digital demand generation, and design/branding, to achieve commercial success
• Build demos and product presentations to showcase our products to consumers and potential clients
• Prepare technical documents for submissions to receive grants

• 10 years of relevant experience in executive product leadership roles, specifically within the cybersecurity industries (Advantage – Automotive or digital healthcare)
• Hands-on experience in technical product management, with the ability to effectively present complex concepts to executives and technical experts
• Technical background (e.g., engineering degree) and experience in leading technical roles (architecture, R&D, Engineering, etc.)
• Demonstrated success in setting and achieving product-related goals, developing comprehensive plans, and executing them effectively
• Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of complex systems, seamlessly integrating functionalities into products and platforms
• Outbound experience: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with large enterprise clients, showcasing deep industry knowledge and confidently addressing their concerns and inquiries
• Problem-solving skills: A proven track record of analyzing complex challenges, preferably within cybersecurity, and providing effective solutions through innovative thinking
• Excellent communication skills, including building trust-based relationships and conveying ideas concisely
• Proven ability to lead projects hands-on, effectively engaging and securing commitment from internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in negotiation and finding mutually beneficial solutions
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances
• High energy, results-oriented mindset, capable of motivating and inspiring others
• Strong sense of accountability and willingness to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills
