The Role

As our Staff Cloud Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of talented cloud architects. You'll be responsible for building, guiding, and mentoring your team as they design and implement complex, production-grade cloud solutions for our customers. You'll also work closely with various teams – from CTO to Sales – to ensure we deliver the best possible value and experience for our customers.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage a team of cloud architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with customer teams to understand their needs and design highly available, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members, providing feedback and performance reviews to drive their career development.
• Partner with the CTO to establish robust internal and external processes for scalability, prioritizing customer value and satisfaction.
• Work closely with Account Management, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Assess, design, and plan migrations to AWS, considering both technical and business aspects.
• Continuously improve pre-sales processes by collaborating with Sales to understand customer challenges and goals, creating significant value.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience as a Tech Lead/Architect for large-scale production-grade products/architectures.
• 10+ years of experience with cloud technologies, with 5+ years specifically focused on AWS and selecting the right tools for business needs.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.
