DevOps Engineer

A hi-tech company established to assist patients and the healthcare industry in overcoming the funding challenges of medical treatments.

The platform developed by the company identifies patients who lack the means to fund medical treatments and connects them to funding programs such as government subsidies, insurance plans, and economic assistance programs, primarily in the American market. Their clients include hospitals that occasionally provide treatment to patients who cannot afford it and need to absorb the treatment costs.

The company currently collaborates with over 50 hospitals and 200 clinics across the United States, securing funding totaling over $500 million for patients. They manage real big data, with systems encompassing over 2 million patients. Recently, they raised $20 million and employ 87 people.

Located in Tel Aviv (near a train station), with employees working from the office three days a week and remotely two days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain different projects in Python, Bash, and NodeJS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance, ensuring high availability and reliability using DataDog, Coralogix, etc
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as OpenTofu.
• Ensure security best practices are followed and vulnerabilities are mitigated
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and automation.
• Support different teams and departments for issues, requests and questions.
• Implement security patches, configurations, and mitigations based on security tools such as WAF, CSPM, CASB (VPN), Identity Providers, etc.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience as DevOps
• Experienced working in a regulated environment with sensitive data
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, EKS (Kubernetes), and Gitlab.
• Experience with security tools such as WAF, CSPM, CASB (VPN), Identity Providers, etc.
• High experience with Python and Bash.
• Knowledge of networking and routing.
• Ability to effectively operate flexibly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team and company environment.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud technology space.
