Senior Software Architect

GMH is the first company to develop a treatment based on digital biomarkers of deep brain activities associated with mental health disorders.

The company has raised $20 million to date. Investors include the American-Japanese corporate OMD, which has received certain rights for the product in Asia,the European Investment Bank, Marius Nacht, Joy Ventures, J-Impact Ventures, and Joyance Ventures.

The technology developed by GrayMatters together with Prof. Hendler uses ML and AI software to process data from an EEG headset device, informed by fMRI. The result is a biomarker of activity related to the amygdala, known to be the center of fight-flight, and is overactive in people suffering from PTSD.

GrayMatters received FDA clearance for its first product for treating PTSD. The product integrates ML, AI, cloud, and graphics technologies as well.

Responsibilities:

Complete ownership of: Design, coding, quality, time estimates and commitments, deployment to production and monitoring.

Lead the architecture, technical design, and development of web and data-intensive applications.

Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members.

Design and implement new features in company products.

Work closely with other teams in R&D in an agile environment

Be hands on in Python, C++, NodeJS/VUE, Flutter AWS cloud infrastructure, databases architecture, and others.

Requirements:

M.Sc. in SW Engineering

At least 10 years of hands-on experience as a software developer.

Experience with software development in the medical device industry.

Experience and good understanding of a variety of technologies, programming languages, and toolkits, Python, C++, Node.js, and Flutter, with an openness to learning and working with additional programming.

Strong experience working with AWS platform.

Proven ability to design and develop enterprise-level applications.

Self-driven, independent with self-learning skills.

Results-driven and ability to understand the big picture.
