Deep Learning Engineer

A startup company specializing in humanoid robots has created human-like robots designed for domestic and office tasks. These robots can move cargo from one location to another, navigate rooms, reach destinations while avoiding obstacles, and perform similar functions.

The company integrates the entire product – from hardware, electronics, software, and AI systems, navigation, control and monitoring, understanding simple verbal commands, and natural language, etc. Industrial production of the robot will begin in 2025.

The company is located in Herzliya near a train line and has 45 employees. The company was founded by three professors who are experts and recognized in the industry and their fields (Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science/Machine Learning).

The company raised approximately $17 million in Round A from the world's leading funds and is now heading towards Round B.

About role-

• 100% engineering-focused AI development work.
• Coding in Python-PyTorch in production.
• Working with pre-trained models for various tasks such as Vision/3D/LLM/Multi-modal.
• Developing AI pipelines and AI infrastructure in an AWS and GCP environment to improve model performance and model training infrastructures.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. /M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Demonstrated excellence (e.g., elite unit background, academic distinctions, upward career trajectory).
• Proficiency working with PyTorch and AI pipelines.
• Experience developing in the cloud (AWS, GCP) and multi-node environments.
