Head of Planning and Merchandising

ABOUT THIS TEAM:

Our Planning and Merchandising team is at the heart of our mission, tasked with maximizing our guests' satisfaction by ensuring the right balance of sales and inventory. We work as trusted advisors, guiding our product and supply chain organization to meet and exceed Irani Corp’s financial goals, adapting lululemon’s global strategies to fit our local market’s unique needs.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

- Develop and implement merchandise financial frameworks, strategies, and targets that align with divisional goals, tailored to the Israeli market.

- Lead pre-season planning with a focus on financial analysis and long-range product planning, in collaboration with our global partners.

- Foster cross-functional alignment on sales, margin, and inventory strategies to meet financial objectives.

- Oversee monthly and quarterly financial planning for margin and inventory.

- Coordinate with the leadership team to set agendas for In-Season and Executive OTB meetings, enhancing decision-making processes.

- Advance demand planning capabilities with an increased focus on supply management.

- Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management, adapting global perspectives to the local context.

- Conduct ad hoc analysis, including financial modeling and benchmarking against past performance.

- Responsible for recruitment, development, and leadership of the planning and merchandising team, ensuring exceptional execution and results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management, with a preference for candidates holding a CMA or MBA.

- At least 4 years of management experience and 10+ years in a relevant field.

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
