About the role-
As The Vice President of eCommerce, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall eCommerce strategy to drive revenue growth,
and ensure the seamless operation of all online sales channels. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in digital marketing, online retail, and eCommerce platform management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing eCommerce team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Drive online sales growth through innovative marketing campaigns, promotions, and product strategies.
- Ensure an exceptional online shopping experience by optimizing site functionality, usability, and personalization.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate marketing.
- Manage and optimize eCommerce platforms to ensure they are user-friendly, scalable, and secure.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including platform providers, payment gateways, and digital agencies.
- Compliance**: Ensure all eCommerce activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in eCommerce or digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and digital marketing tools.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive online sales growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of UX/UI best practices and customer journey optimization.
