Automation Test Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test plans for system components and entire systems.

The role involves leading the end-to-end testing process, from requirements analysis to writing test result documentation and managing the work plan.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test plans to identify system faults.
• Analyze test requirements and define necessary testing tools.
• Plan and implement automation architecture and infrastructure.
• Implement necessary simulations and automation for testing.
• Validate the accuracy of the automation.
• Write test specifications and execute test plans.
• Manage defects and document test results.
• Oversee the work plan.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Formal education in Software or Electronics Engineering, or Practical Engineering.
• Preferred graduates of a testing course and ISTQB certification.

Skills and Experience:

• At least three years of experience in software or system testing.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, RS422, SNMP, Web Socket, REST API.
• Understanding and knowledge of software testing methodologies, including proficiency in the software lifecycle and integration of testing within it.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and development environments such as MATLAB or Python
• Experience with software requirements documents and the ability to analyze requirements and define testing methods for each requirement.
• Ability to define test scenarios.
• Knowledge in writing and maintaining test documents (STP, STD, STR).
• Familiarity with test scenario planning and management tools and defect management tools.

Additional Advantages:

• Specialization in operational systems for mission planning, data fusion (C4I systems), operational systems integrated with weapon systems.
• Familiarity with open source automated testing tools and development environments for Web and microservices.
• Experience in testing algorithms such as electro-optical algorithms, motion control algorithms, navigation algorithms, etc.
• Experience or familiarity with additional tools and technologies.
