Role Description

At Night Heron, the Product Designer is a pivotal role, focused on developing and designing state-of-the-art apparel and gear tailored for the modern-day operator. This role involves close collaboration with Israel’s most elite military units to ensure our products are both innovative and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Innovation: Conceptualize and create cutting-edge designs for apparel and gear, utilizing advanced 3D and 2D design software such as Fusion 360 or Shapr3D, illustrator.
• Pattern Making and Prototyping: Develop detailed design patterns and prototypes, ensuring precision and functionality.
• Product Evaluation: Assess and improve existing products based on user feedback and field testing, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards required by elite units.
• Project Management: Handle multiple design projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines are met and maintaining the highest quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Design Expertise: Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work in apparel or gear.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in 3D and 2D design programs such as Fusion 360 or Shapr3D, illustrator, and a deep understanding of pattern making.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and articulate design concepts.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of advanced materials and cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
