Job Description:

• Planning, establishing, and maintaining large and complex network infrastructures.
• Daily management and operation of the organization's extensive network systems.
• Implementing new protocols and applications in network systems.
• Making configuration changes in network systems according to business requirements.
• Monitoring network performance and identifying and resolving issues.
• Managing and implementing network security policies.
• Planning and implementing network backup and recovery mechanisms.
• Close collaboration with other teams in the organization and external suppliers.
• Executing projects to expand network infrastructure and increase traffic capacity.
• Providing technical support to external stakeholders and the organization’s customers.
• Writing and updating technical documentation for network systems.
• Learning and implementing new network technologies and ongoing professional training.

The engineer will be responsible for the stable and reliable operation of the organization’s large and complex network infrastructures, responding to changing business requirements and implementing upgrades and new technologies to improve network performance.

Requirements:

• At least two years of experience in network engineering at an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or a communications provider with over 100,000 subscribers.
• Deep and thorough knowledge of communication protocols: BGP, ISIS, MPLS, MPLS-VPN, MPLS-TE, IPv6, VPLS.
• Good familiarity with large network systems and network equipment from manufacturers such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, HP.
• Good systemic understanding.
• Ability to work in a team and cooperate with various interfaces within the organization.
• Good self-learning ability.
• Proven experience in planning and executing large projects with traffic capacities of 200Gbps and above.
• Willingness to work intensively and at unconventional hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Good command of the English language.
• Experience working with international external parties.
• High service awareness.
