Automation Engineer

Located in Herzliya near the train station, offering the option of working remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead automation and QA efforts as the inaugural Automation/QA Engineer, specializing in UI automation using Python.
• Collaborate closely with R&D teams to comprehend product specifications and requirements thoroughly.
• Develop comprehensive test plans for new features to ensure coverage of all scenarios and edge cases.
• Create, implement, and maintain automated tests for the user interface, emphasizing functionality and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and meticulously track any bugs or inconsistencies discovered during testing phases.
• Review and analyze system specifications to guarantee testing completeness and consistency.
• Champion quality throughout the product development lifecycle, offering actionable insights to enhance quality processes.
• Participate actively in troubleshooting and issue resolution across teams, contributing to root cause analysis and solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and methodologies, continuously enhancing the testing framework and procedures.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and a team player
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, especially for UI testing.
• Proven experience as a QA tester.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality end-user experiences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
