We are seeking a talented and motivated Electro-Optical Engineer for Wafer Analysis & Testing to join our R&D team.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Data Analysis and Statistical Methods: Extensive experience with data analysis, statistical methods, and tools, specifically those related to reliability analysis.
- R&D experience in semiconductor companies.
- Experience working at a Fabless company and collaborating with manufacturing partners.
- Hands-on experience with laser diode micro-optics, opto-electronic device packaging, and complex reliability engineering principles.
- Strong background in QC data analysis for high volume manufacturing (HVM) of wafers.
- Photonics Expertise: Strong understanding of photonics, with the ability to debug laser and photonics tests.
- Experimental Design: Experienced in planning, preparing, and executing experiments, as well as analyzing data and conducting DOE.
- Hands-On Testing: Practical experience in semiconductor or laser and photonics testing, with a focus on wafer-level testing.
- Wafer-Level Testing: Proven experience with wafer-level testing machines and methodologies.
- Statistical Proficiency: Solid grasp of statistical analysis methods and tools.
- Coding Skills: Proficient in Python and JMP for data analysis and tool development.
- B.Sc or M.Sc in Physics or Engineering.
- Test Plan Design: Design and implement comprehensive electro-optical test plans for products under development, with a strong focus on wafer-level testing.
- Method Development: Develop innovative methods and tools for testing and characterizing silicon photonics, lasers, photodiodes, and modulator semiconductor devices at the wafer level.
- Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of test data and Design of Experiments (DOE) results to provide critical insights for the development of cutting-edge silicon photonics products.
- Failure Investigations: Lead and support cross-functional failure investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
