Paramedic - International Clinic - Relocation to Vietnam

Our client is a Medical Center located in Vietnam that attracts many foreign visitors as well as native residents for our services. They are a major multinational health provider in Vietnam, the only provider of Mobile ICU ambulances services and are looking for the best to come and work with them.

We are seeking a Certified Paramedic with at least 3 years of Paramedic experience, passionate about experiencing new cultures, who would like the opportunity to bring their medical expertise to a different culture and treat patients from global backgrounds.

As a Paramedic in their clinics you will be treating patients in acute and critical conditions, both medical and trauma; You will respond to emergencies and other related situations, either at the scene or in the clinic, stabilize and transfer patients safely to medical facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Rapid assessment and stabilization of patients in critical conditions including medical and trauma.
• Performing life-saving procedures (e.g. Intubation, Cardiac defibrillation).
• Perform medical procedures as necessary (e.g. establishing IV access, administering fluids and medications, applying dressing and splinting).
• Working together with other medical professionals to ensure the best care for the patient.
• Approach patients and family members with professionalism and empathy.
• Maintain and ensure proper readiness of emergency equipment (I.e. ambulances, emergency bags, monitors defibrillators etc.) including cleanliness, decontamination of equipment and checking expiry dates of medications.
• Keep proper documentation of medical notes, including medical history, treatment and outcome.
• Handover and debrief medical staff at the clinic or other medical facilities as needed.

Requirements:

• MUST: Paramedic degree and license.
• MUST: ACLS; ATLS / PHTLS certificates up to date. (PALS certificate an advantage).
• MUST: Minimum of 3 years year’s experience as a senior paramedic on mobile ICU ambulances.
• Excellent communication skills, caring and empathetic.
• Excellent teamwork skills and team leading.
• Ability to stay calm, decisive and perform under stressful situations.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Commitment for at least 1 year.
