Payroll Accountant

For a leading high-tech company, we are seeking a Payroll Accountant for a temporary position (6 to 10 months with an option for advancement within the company).

Job Description:

The company is seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant to join our payroll department in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. The role involves working with advanced payroll systems, providing high-level service, and handling a wide range of accounting and regulatory tasks in a global company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive knowledge of labor laws and taxation, as well as familiarity with the Hours of Work and Rest Law.
• Understanding of the payroll structure, salary components, and deductions.
• Processing payroll files.
• Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll and attendance.
• Making payments to authorities.
• Handling employment terminations (final paycheck processing).
• Managing the military reserve duty system from reporting in the attendance system to receiving reserve duty compensation from the National Insurance Institute.
• Performing payroll and attendance audits using the Ofek system and Excel (Pivot, Vlookup).
• Interfacing with internal organizational entities (employees, managers, HR, and finance teams in Israel and abroad).
• Interfacing with external entities – Hilan, National Insurance Institute.
• Working in a team environment, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Requirements:

• Payroll Accountant certification from the CPA Chamber.
• Deep familiarity with Hilan, Hilanet, and Ofek systems - mandatory.
• Full proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat DC.
• Full proficiency in English - mandatory.
• Previous experience working in a team environment.
