Product Manager

ASTERRA is a thriving Earth observation company specializing in SAR analytics and innovative technological solutions. Our SaaS platform delivers satellite-based infrastructure intelligence to various industries, utilizing AI technology and geospatial expertise to provide advanced monitoring solutions that drive informed decision-making and positive impact.

ASTERRA is looking for a Product Manager to support ASTERRA’s current portfolio of products worldwide. Reporting directly to the Product Director, the Product Manager will play a key role in shaping the company's product growth strategy through product development and market understanding. This role involves collaborating with customers, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify customer requirements and translate them into products and improvements through coordination with the R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the product, development roadmap, and strategic planning.
• Engage with current and potential customers to gather voice of customer requirements and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with customers to solve issues
• Collaborate closely with sales, business development, and customer success to ensure seamless customer onboarding and product use.
• Gain a deep understanding of the market landscape and identify growth opportunities.
• Become a market expert through market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis.
• Work with the R&D team to prioritize demands and allocate resources in line with the company’s product strategy.
• Manage marketing and promotional content.
• Report to management on product status.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Up to 2 years of experience in a product management, engineering, or scientific role.
• Bachelor’s degree in science, geoscience, remote sensing, Industrial Engineering or other related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
• proficient in cross-cultural collaboration and flexible to accommodate interactions across various time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in utilizing task management systems such as “Asana” and “Jira”.
• Solid grasp of geospatial and/or remote sensing technology, products, data, and data analytics.
• Interest in national and global infrastructure issues (including water resiliency).

Requirements

• Spoken and written fluency in Hebrew and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically within the USA and internationally (50%).
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Excellent time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and independently.
